Fore!

I'm a serious fan of family date night! It always helps when Dad surprises us and comes home early. We headed to Cafe Rio for some yummy dinner and then we were off to play mini golf.

This Dad was thrilled to show his kiddos the ropes... he loved being in his element. Little known fact... his dream job is to be a pro golfer. I'd like that too. :)

Myles had a great time.. but it was sure tricky for our little lefty. She couldn't quite get the feel for it.. she fought herself trying to play righty then lefty. Once we get this figured out.. she's going to be quite the competitor.

Her celebrations were the best.. as seen here...

and here.

She did lose her ball in the water.. a little devastated about it. The verdict is still out whether she dropped it intentionally or not.
Justin was pretty into it. Quite competitive really. He wouldn't let me cheat one bit! Yes.. one hole I did get 6. It was quite the obstacle course putting around the kids, but we loved it.
This guy felt SO big. Can't you tell?? He loved walking around with his club and ball.
Learning the ropes...

He got a hole in one, every time! When it was his turn, he'd walk up to the hole and drop it in.
He actually looked like he knew what he was doing!

I'm not quite sure when this darling boy grew up.. but it happened. I'm still in shock.

This was our very first time playing mini golf as a family! We can't wait to do it again.

I'm convinced, family date nights are the best.

Fun! We love going mini golfing. I didn't know Justin was a golfer. Mike shares the same passion. We should go on a double date some time and hit the links (I'm horrible but I think its fun.)
