Sunday was honestly the best in every way. Church was amazingly uplifting and we had some fun adventures planned for our family... backyard camping and fireworks! We thought this would be a great trial run to know if it would really work if we tried to go up the canyon. The verdict...we won't be camping in the mountains any time this year. :)
The kids loved the tent and thought it was the coolest ever! It was quite noisy outside--fireworks going crazy even though it was only the 3rd. Luke couldn't help but sing songs and pinch his sister, so around 10pm he went to his own bed. We brought his monitor out and enjoyed our time with Mylie. She loved it and slept like a rock... all over us. There wasn't an hour that I didn't have one of her limbs on me. :) At least our kids slept great!

The sparklers freaked this guy out at first. He would put hands on his head and stress about them. Soon enough he got the hang of it.

Fountains were our big finale. We had lots of fun experimenting with the camera. Well.. Justin did. He was our resident photographer! Good thing too. 
We had a blast playing around with sparklers. Our minds are already spinning about what we're going to try next year.

LOVE IT!!! I can't believe the sparkler pictures... they are awesome!!! You have to tell me how you did that.. I want to try :). We definitely need to do some sparklers at your house next month :). Can't wait! I love how much you guys are loving your time together as a family... what an example! What a fun mom!
