Justin and I were given the assignment of family pics... which lucky for me, meant Justin was in charge. :) Oh, I love that we share the same photography passion. Justin took charge and with some help from his Dad, they decided to snap the photos in front of the beach house. It's insanely difficult to coordinate a destination with a group that size and with opinions coming from all sides, I think they made a smart decision. One location. Not too far from the AC. Loved that.
The colors were decided before we actually left for SC, so everyone could bring and find the right attire. I wasn't a fan of 'white' necessary, but that comes from my own pregnant bias. It does look crisp. But, white? Big and pregnant? Not cute combo. Anyway.. enough about me.
Wait.. back to me for a second. Can I just tell you how much I hate taking photos while pregnant?? I turn into quite the round, not-so-little thing. It's so hard seeing yourself, not like yourself. So, don't mind the chubby version of me. Can't quite stand it! Gosh, I wish I wasn't so vain. :) Just can't wait to get back to feeling like myself again. Okay... enough about me... for real this time.
I think Justin did a fabulous job! Can't quite beat free, right?? He was a good sport to take on the challenge, while hearing nonstop opinions.
Unfortunately, our family wasn't complete. Nate, Christie and their girls weren't able to attend our little family reunion and boy did we miss them! So, this photo isn't quite complete without them. Oh how we wish they could've been there with us. We've never actually met Christie and were really looking forward to it.
One more disclaimer... Luke was a challenge!! Crazy kid wouldn't smile normal to save his life. We tried bribing him with everything we could think of.. nope. Not a chance. So... enjoy the entertainment of all of his many faces. One day we'll be able to have a normal family pic with everyone smiling... normal. :)

These turned out so awesome. Way to go Justin! What a beautiful family. You are such a good sport to do the family pic thing. I have a couple family pics with me huge. Hated that! :) I didn't look half as cute as you did. :)
