Another peek

Yesterday, we had the 'official' peek at our baby boy.  It was abnormally nerve racking for me this time.  I had nightmares all week about the potential problems we'd find and even the unthinkable. 

Despite all of my worries, we discovered that our baby boy is perfect in every single way. 

What a relief and a blessing!

I never tire of looking at this sweet boy or feeling him move.

His little face.. he's a cutie!

He's still a boy! Good thing... we are all finally used to the idea of having another boy around here.

Profile..it was actually really hard to get a good profile shot because this little guy kept one arm up at the side of his face the whole time.. even despite all of our attempts to jiggle him around.

One of my favorite parts... we were loving this little hand.. took a little snap shot of it.. and all of a sudden he quickly started grabbing in the air and grabbed the umbilical cord.  It was SO COOL to watch.  He's having a fun time in there.

One of my other favorite parts... seeing my baby boy's heart.  We had the most perfect view of his heart and all of it's chambers.  The tech said it was a phenomenal view and she was astounded.  We blew it up on screen.. and watched it go for quite some time.  Such a strong heart.. beyond amazing. 

Luckily, I was sent home with a DVD of some of the footage.  It was so fun to share the excitement with Justin and Mylie later in the day.  Mylie is actually really good at understanding the ultrasound shots and picking out the body parts. She loved watching her brother.

What a blessing modern medicine is! I love these opportunities that provide insight to my pregnancy, as well as bonding experiences with this sweet boy that's joining our family. 

I'm so so so grateful for a healthy and beautiful baby boy.  I know our Heavenly Father has blessed us tremendously.  I see His hand in my life every single day. What a miracle it is to house a growing baby and bring this sweet boy into this world.

I'm so grateful.
