Our final day was spent at Mission Beach. We packed up the hotel that morning and planned to play until we were beat, then hit the road. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too great... pretty chilly actually.. until around noon. The chill didn't phase the Mylie one bit.
This girl loves running more than anything. So.. that's what she did.
Feeding the seagulls.. Myles was pretty selective and would make this cute face in between each piece of cheese she threw.
Final stop.. the San Diego temple. It's unbelievably gorgeous. Here's Justin's HDR shot. Love his skills.

Once we hit the road, the kiddos crashed... for about 45 mins only. Bummer.

Maybe it was because they were too excited to meet up with Josh and Kendra in Vegas!!
We arrived in Vegas around 10:30pm.. and met up with some of our favorite people. Still can't believe our trips overlapped just perfectly. They just arrived in Vegas that morning. We spent an hour and a half catching up and watched the kids run wild. It was too fun.
Around midnight we were back on the road and driving home. Luke didn't fair so well on the way home..he was beyond exhausted and couldn't sleep. Around 2am, I gave in and made a bed for Mylie on the floor and made a bed for Luke on the bench. Needless to say, the kids were out the rest of the way home while Justin and I rocked an all-nighter.
Fun doesn't even begin to describe our little family vacay. We loved every minute. Special thanks to Papa and Debbie who shared their timeshare points with us! :) We made wonderful memories that I'll cherish forever.

What a fun, fun trip. I absolutely love the pictures! You are such a great photographer. The one of the SD temple could be a poster-a definte framer! Give those cutie pies a hug for us!
