Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving Day was perfect this year! I spent the morning baking... three sweet potato casseroles and three batches of cranberry sauce. They turned out super yummy! Around 2pm we gathered with Justin's aunts, cousins and friends... about 50 people in all. That's what I call Thanksgiving! Tons of people, food and lots of fun. Lukers wasn't in the best mood... being nap time and all...but we tried to keep him out of mischief and as happy as could be. Mylie met lots of new friends and loved it.

Luke's first "cheese" face.

The place settings... and one of Justin's Grandma's, Elaine B, Thanksgiving poems. She passed away before I joined the family, but she wrote Thanksgiving poems yearly. It's been fun to read her poems, year after year.

The tables... just a few of them. :)

Workin' in the kitchen.. Aimee Jo

Val, Nancy and Rachel... intently working on something.

The hustle and bustle..

Tawni, Justin's cousin who I met for the first time. She lives in WA. :)

Newlyweds Brian and Cali

Quinton, who just returned home from his mission.

Toni, Becky Jo and Melissa.. in good spirits.

Miriam and Phil... definitely caught off guard. :)

Nancy, Sue and Irvin

Justin's family is so wonderful. They truly make me feel one of their own and were so kind enough to embrace us on this holiday when none of our immediate family was around. :) We love the Hales!
