We decided this family needed some fresh air.. so we headed up Little Cottonwood Canyon. I've been trying to get up to the mountains to get some pictures of the changing leaves but October was seriously crazy and it didn't happen. I was hoping that we'd still catch a few, but most the leaves were gone. So sad. One of these days I'll get some awesome pictures of the changing leaves in the fall. I missed it entirely last year and the year before ended up in a disaster. Check that out here. Alas, it's on my to do list once again for next year. I realized our little family didn't need changing leaves to enjoy nature and fresh air.
Luke was seriously all about walking around, eating rocks and he desperately wanted to play in the water. Luckily, I convinced him to settle for throwing rocks into the water instead of swimming.
Mylie loved every minute. She wanted to find a waterfall.. but was pleasantly content with the river. She loving gathering leaves and drawing in the dirt with sticks.
Family shot... don't mind me falling off the log. There were serious branches poking up in my "place" and I found that out the hard way on the first shot.
Justin's photos of the water...
Glad he decided to bring the tripod along.
