Better believe it.. we harvested these beauties from our little garden. I'll be honest, we killed everything but our cucumbers and tomatoes...both of which, we have tons of! I love being able to go outside and grab fresh tomatoes for our dinner salad or grab some cucumbers for an afternoon snack. I've given up on weeding the veggie graveyard (lettuce, onions, peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, basil, parsley, and the list goes on..), and despite the bed of weeds, my 5 bushes of tomatoes and cucumbers are going strong. Not sure what I was thinking planting 7 bushes of tomatoes!
I started looking around and noticed that honestly no one in my neighborhood plants their garden in the ground..everyone has boxes. The soil here is terrible and despite our best efforts to mix in good soil and fertilizer, most didn't make it.
I've learned my lesson for next year. Quite a few lessons actually.
1. Boxes only.
2. Be selective. I don't need to grow everything!
3. The garden doesn't need to be watered all night long. :)

I wish I liked tomatoes, I try to make myself like them all the time and I just don't :( Chase built two garden boxes this year and we will plant our garden next year. Thanks for the tips! Glad you have yummy tomatoes and cucumbers
WOW. Fun garden. I love tomatoes and cucumbers. I am glad some of your harvest survived. My tomatoes came way late this year. Love your garden lessons.
