TX - Splash Park

Our last day in Texas was going to be a day at the pool, but there was a little thunder and the pool closed. We decided to change plans and hit the local splash park, not far from Ellice's house. I'm so glad we went. It was a little crowded at first, but after a little sprinkle it cleared out and we had it practically to ourselves.

Luke LOVED swinging into the water...sideways. :)

The composition of the photo is amazing! Nice work Ellice. (We always share images after the trip, so sometimes it's hard to decipher who took what, but I know she took this.) Love everything about it.

The slide was also a big hit. Grammie did most the catching and she was just what the kids needed.

I couldn't keep Luke's face out of the water! He kept trying to drink it... oh my. Poor little guy had a raw nose by the end.

Mylie loved the teeter-totter like crazy!

Love the tongue.

And love her missing teeth!

This guy was all smiles... he always is really. Always amazes me.

Mylie disapproved of me being the paparazzi.. and she let me know it.

The never-ending photo shoot... it started like this...

went to this...

Then this...

And we ended with this! Phew. Mylie's trying to copy Abby's pose here. She thinks the world of Abby. It's so cute.

Could this boy be any happier?

Maybe if he crawled right into it! I love my little fish!

Someone has serious wardrobe issues. She couldn't decide between her swim suit and dress. I was done changing her back and forth... so here's her attempt solo. I had to step in when it started to get a little indecent. :) Oh.. my crazy curly q!

After all the park fun... we headed home for showers.. then hit up Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Seriously love that place. But really love "early" dining for $7.99 and kids eating free on Monday night. The best!!

Luke had a rough time on the flight home and I could've killed the flight attendant that wouldn't let Mylie pee on our layover... but we made it home in one piece... so excited to see Justin.

Our Texas trip was so fun! Can you believe how much fun we packed into our long weekend? Amazing. It's always a blast when the girls are together again and when the cousins reunite. Love it. Thanks for another fun year girls! And John!! Love you all.
