TX - Beach baby!

The beach was the perfect excursion for our second day in Texas. We literally played all day long and wore these kids out. There were actually a lot of firsts too. It was the best! The hard part was looking at all the pics later and convincing ourselves that our butts didn't really look like that in real life. :) Oh well.

This little girl was going non stop. The Texas heat was a little much for her and I know she was relieved to spend a day in the water. Love the tongue.

I could spend all day playing with my kids at the beach. All day. They were so entertained and soaking up every minute. I was too.

Mylie thought it was hilarious splashing me... while I was holding the camera. Not so funny. But this pic is.

It was actually Luke's FIRST time at the beach. (PS- I hate that his Dad missed it!!) It was just as I anticipated. He headed straight for the water. Can't keep this guy away. He didn't even care to eat the sand, which was the exact opposite of his sister... who feasted on sand in SC. Lukers thought the feeling on his feet was super weird and you could often find him with his feet in the air. :) Great abs.

Serious team work.. getting some water for our castle.

Grammie rented a boogie board and Abby and Dallin were in heaven. Another FIRST. They had the best time. Abby actually was quite good!

Workin it out. What a good helper Abby is.

Grammie spent hours playing catch, boogie boarding, taking Luke swimming and etc. She's one active lady and we love it. Also love Mylie's run out of the water. She's all girl.

It was Connor's FIRST time loving to swim! Who knew with a family a beach-goers?! Auntie definitely has to keep her eyes on this guy now.

My happy camper...

And when it was nap time.. he let us know.

All of us. Ugh. Hate body shots! Had to do it though. Thanks for taking the pic... random fireman who wanted to be our friend! :)

When we returned home.. the adventures weren't over. Well.. for some of us. After some good 'ol pizza, Grammie was summoned back to the heat for some light saber battles...

And more battles.. you can tell she was getting really good!

And of course more bike time for these two.

Mylie's hair was crazy in the humidity! I love all of her curls!! She has her Dad to thank for that... I had nothing to do with it.
