Where oh where??

Where oh where is the time going? I can't believe how fast my babies are growing up. It's crazy. Can I just pause time... just for a while. We're having so much fun!

Luke is boy through and through... I love it! He's fascinated with any type of ball and spends most of his time playing fetch with himself. :) It's great. Luke loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hot dogs, noodles, lasagna and any other type of food that makes him feel like he's big stuff. He spends hours admiring Mylie... laughing at her and can be very afraid of her too.

Mylie loves how big Luke is getting... I try and remind her that he's a baby.. but she corrects me saying.. "No Mom... Luke's a big boy now." She's right. But not big enough to play as rough as she'd like. Luke's teeth are growing in fast. I love this pic-- it shows his new top teeth. He loves them... and loves to take bites out of my shoulder from time to time. Luke is a serious crawler now.. so fast! It's amazing how much happier he is because of it. And.. we're already loving his tubes! One cold since the surgery and no ear infection! Yay!

Justin and I turn to one another every day and comment about how big Mylie is. It's crazy. She's maturing more and more every day. Her conversations are hilarious. Sometimes her mind goes a lot faster than she can get the words out. :) This is her latest Lego creation... she made it all by herself... according to her... it's the "Queen's Castle." I'm loving her little imagination. It gets bigger by the day. She changes dresses at least 4x a day-- that's if she can do it by herself. This is her new "blue" dress.. she's worn it at least once every day since we got home from CA. Some battles just aren't worth fighting. :)

Mylie is excited to start preschool this August. I know she's going to thrive in that learning environment and being with other kids. She's such a good helper with Luke... that's when she's not tackling him. :) She's really sensitive and aware of other people's feelings.. which I think is really special. She's quick to apologize and make things right. Love that.

I'm so grateful for my two crazy, unique and darling kids. They make my life so much more full... so much better. I love to see them grow but at the same time... it makes me sad...I don't want to forget anything. I'm trying to remember to relish in every minute with them at this stage.. because I know it's not going to last long.

Love the post... and love your little ones. They are so adorable. I can't believe how big they are getting! Crazy! We can't wait to see them and play with them here in Texas :).

You are such a sweet and wonderful mother... I need to be more like you. Your attitude and outlook truly impress me. :)

Love you!
