Girls Night In

Mylie has been obsessed with the idea of a 'Spa Night' ever since reading one of her Fancy Nancy books.  I promised her we would have one before the baby arrived. With my induction date bumped up.. our girl night was as well!

I let her choose between going and getting pedicures or doing facial masks and nails at home.  Mylie was dead set on facial masks, because that's what was featured in the book.  So.. that's what we did.

We banned the boys to the basement, put on a girl show, painted nails and did facials.  Mylie's excitement was through the roof! She was beaming from ear to ear the whole time.  I couldn't stop smiling because of how happy she was.

She was eager to go downstairs and show Dad and Luke our faces.  After we modeled our faces, she ran up to Justin and gave him the biggest hug and said, "This is so much fun!!" Oh, it was the cutest thing ever.

Luckily, Luke wanted nothing to do with it... he was busy doing boy stuff in the basement... like playing basketball and building trains.

The girls.. in all of our girly glory!
 Pleased as punch.

What a fun memory with my one and only girl. Love you, Myles!
