Our little man thinks he's big stuff. More like, he knows it.
Truth be told, I am in awe of how big he is!
He is quick to remind you that he can do everything himself... "No, I do it!"
And he's also quick to remind you that's he's not a baby anymore. "I not a baby, I'm a big boy!"
His favorite activity with his dad, besides fighting (aka wrestling), is to mow the lawn.
It's their thing.
He starts up his mower simultaneously with his dad...watching closely to make sure he does it right. (Notice his snow boots? He was really pumped about wearing them because they're super comfy.)
You'll then find him, right alongside his dad. Gettin' it done.
Apparently, mowing the lawn is serious business.
Mowing the lawn isn't the only big boy activity Luke loves. He decided that he wants to go potty in the toilet! I've been reluctant to attempt potty training before our two-week trip to South Carolina. Potty trips in the airport and on the airplane are beyond disenchanting. But, he's ready.
I've decided to take the PullUp route until after the trip. Believe it or not, this guy will have a dry PullUp in the morning and he'll keep it dry most the day. He notifies me, most of the time, when he has to go-- depending on what he's activity he's involved in at the moment.
Luke has also had many successful #2 trips to the toilet!
I love the idea of having him completely potty trained before the baby comes.
I hate having two kids in diapers. Been there done that. Not again.
We're well on our way! Yay Luke!
