When I dropped Mylie off at preschool this morning, Miss Karen said to me:
"Mylie is the sweetest little girl. I just love her. She's always so polite and grateful. She's just so sweet. Good job, Mom. You must be doing something right!"
My heart just melted. Mylie is so sweet and tender. She is constantly thanking me... for helping her clean her room.. for fixing her dinner.. for picking up her favorite things at the store. Not only that, she's constantly helping! She loves to take care of Luke. She's always filling his sippy cup, grabbing things for him and smothering him with hugs and kisses. Whenever I'm cleaning, you can find Mylie beside me, with her own rag, vacuum or broom. Sometimes it takes a little longer with a sidekick, but I wouldn't trade those moments for anything!
I'm so grateful that Mylie was sent to our family. I'm lucky to be her mom. It was a rough go for the first year or so... but wow. It was all worth it.

Oh she is such a sweetheart! When we came over the other day I could see it in her face and she was so sweet to Brielle. You are an amazing mom! And want to know something an older mom with grown kids told me about colicky babies? She said one of hers was so colicky, but he turned out to be the sweetest and most sensitive and most cuddly one of all her kids. Looks like that is how Mylie is turning out as well :)
Yes- those are moments us mommies wish we had more of! Mylie is such a sweetie and you are doing a great job teaching her!
