We weren't sure whether the Easter bunny was going to make it to our house before church. 9am church is pretty early and we thought he might be still working his way to our house at that time. Sure enough, he decided he could make it! :) The kids awoke to a house filled with eggs or balls according to Luke. Candy was placed perfectly around... the kids were in heaven! Their faces were priceless as they emerged from around the corner.

Mylie was thrilled to add more girly things to her life... this girl can't get enough lip gloss! Don't you love the swollen morning faces? :)

Luke's plastic eggs were "balls" and Mylie's eggs were sparkly and Hello Kitty! Luke probably said ball over 100 times that morning. Pure excitement.
We had a miraculous morning. After the hubub, we hurried and got ready for church. We enjoyed celebrating the true meaning of Easter the next three hours at church.
My favorite moment during the day was Mylie's prayer over lunch... "Please help Jesus to be resurrected today." She definitely started to get it... we're still working on the details with her. :) I was just happy she had the words 'Jesus' and 'resurrected' in her prayer!
I'm so grateful for my Savior...for His sacrifice. I'm grateful for the gift that He's given me... the gift of overcoming physical and spiritual death. I'm filled with hope and gratitude as I contemplate the magnitude and reach of the Atonement. I know we can be better each day.. I know we can be forgiven each day. I know my Redeemer lives.
