Happy Birthday, Mylie!!

My cute baby girl is four! I can't even believe it. She's sure growing up fast and we're loving the wonderful helper, example and big sister she is!

Mylie woke up first... to decorations on her door and knew today was her special day. She went out to the front and checked out all the balloons, streamers, butterflies, and etc. She came in to try and wake us all up. Poor girl... it was actually pretty hard. We all had a late night decorating and etc. After I woke up, Mylie was anxious to start opening presents. We let Justin sleep in a little bit, because he had two late nights in a row. Mylie woke up Papa Blackner, who came in the night before and was ready to go. Luckily, Nana and Papa Baughman's Valentines arrived and Mylie and Luke opened those before waiting for the festivities to begin.

After Justin woke up, we opened a few presents and then started on our breakfast feast. Mylie chose pancakes, orange juice, sausage and scrambled eggs and boy was it yummy!

After breakfast, we sent Mylie on a mini-scavenger hunt to find her main present. Just what she asked for... "a big painting thing"! She was elated once she found it. She kept saying, "Thank you! It's just what I wanted! Thank you!" Love how polite my little girl is. She was eager to get painting!

Testing it out...

Love the concentration and the tongue.

Once we were all showered, we decided to head down to Kangeroo Zoo. Papa Baughman actually flew in the night before as well; he came for a training for his new calling. We were excited that he wanted to share Mylie's birthday with us. So, Papa Baughman met our gang at Kangeroo Zoo. Mylie thought it was the coolest thing to have "two Papas" here on her birthday. It really was.

Most of the pictures are of Luke... he's a little slower than Mylie and easier to catch pictures of. Mylie's in most of the videos. I'll have to convince Justin to make a birthday video.. there's some great footage.

It was such a great time. We love this place and we never tire of it!

At Kangeroo Zoo we worked up an appetite and headed over to Pirate Pizza for some lunch. Mylie and Luke didn't eat too well.. they were too excited to play.

Game time

Lovin this bike! Too bad he couldn't reach the handles.

Not too sure how I feel about him loving this too...

Tickets galore! Mylie was only able to purchase a few suckers and tootsie rolls with all her tickets and she was kind enough to split with her brother. Sweet girl.

Mylie and her Papas

When our tokens ran out, we headed back to our house for more presents.

And played with presents..

And even played with things that weren't meant to be presents but ended up being fun!

We concluded the night with Mylie's cake. She specifically requested a Dora cake. This was actually the first year I didn't bake her cake myself.. but I didn't feel bad about it one bit. She loved her cake SO much. It didn't taste as good as mine did... but hey.. it's Mylie's day and she was elated.

I'm positive Mylie's birthday was perfect in every way. She was all smiles all day long. She loved receiving phone calls from all of her favorite people. She definitely liked being on the receiving end.. even though she loves singing. Mylie almost started to expect calls. When my phone would ring, she was ready to answer and hear her loved ones. So cute.

Happy Birthday Mylie. We sure love you!!
