"Christmas Morning"

We decided to have our own little Christmas morning before we head up to WA for the real deal. The idea of packing presents, just to bring them back just didn't seem smart. So, we pretended at our house.. that today was the actual day! (minus most other festivities). We wanted to make sure Mylie had plenty of time to play with her "loot" before we left.

The cutest little pink kitchen can now be found at our house! I can't believe such a little thing took 2 whole hours to build! It was all worth it this morning though. For some reason, Mylie decided to wake up an hour and a half early... how did she know!? The kitchen was set, Justin was ready with the video camera in hand... and little Myles wandered out to it in the front room. There wasn't a huge "What!?!? This is the best Christmas ever!" expression on her face, but we could tell she was pumped.

After opening all the accessories... pots & pans... food... plates & etc... Mylie played for hours! It was a beautiful sight! Justin and I exchanged a couple gifts as well. I totally rocked this year-- Justin got some cool things! :) Don't you love it when you totally nail gifts on the head?! And of course, he totally rocked too... and listened really well to my hints the last couple of months! :) What a great hubby!

We devoured yummy french toast with homemade syrup and strawberries. Justin had to bust out the Cocomotion too... it was packed up in storage for a while and he was going through major withdrawls... especially with all the snow storms we've been having! He's so funny!

It was a fun day of family time with some errands as well. I loved our little jump start to the holidays...

So darling. Oh the days of one baby. She will be quite the little helper in the kitchen now that she has her own!
