Well...I'm just on cloud nine...our Christmas decorations are out...all of our presents are wrapped and under the tree (minus a couple more I need to pick up)...and we're singing and playing Christmas music all the time. Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year and I'm so excited that it's Mylie's first year. She did see some of her Christmas presents when I was wrapping them yesterday...and it was fun to see her get all excited about them. I'm sure she'll forget and will be just as excited when we open them before we head to South Carolina. But I will be saving a few for her to open there. Here's a glance at a little bit of Christmas around our house...

Mylie is loving this new Christmas house... especially the tree. She loves the lights and ornaments. I think this is the last year I'll be able to do my fancy tree...I guess it's a good thing that she can't move and reach the ornaments! We're looking at the bright side of a not-moving 9 month old! :) Next year the play ornaments will need to come out.. but until then.. we'll enjoy our glass and glittery ones!
I had to put Mylie in front of the tree to get some shots wearing her outfit from Grammie...I wasn't planning on it looking so festive but I love it. A little smile would have been great though....Sorry Dallin, Mylie's just testing out the wrapping paper on your present... making sure everything's okay for you to open! :)
I've been thinking a lot about the traditions that I want to start with our little family...ones to carry on from my family and Justin's family. Those will be in some later blogs this month... as well as some yummy Christmas recipes! :)

Love your Christmas... your tree is beautiful :) You should be grateful for your baby that isn't moving... for sure. Dallin has already attacked the tree numerous times and has eaten at least 5 cranberries off the garland! Crazy kid! Mylie sure does look festive... the colors were perfect!
Can't wait to see some of the traditions you are starting.... Love you!! Only 3 more weeks :)
Wow gorgeous decorations!! I can't wait to get our Christmas stuff up!! I love this time of year!!
Love your decorations! Love your style. And love your little Mylie. How fun you are with your cute little family. While I was reading I kept thinking, "Enjoy your pretty tree. .." I can only wish for a pretty tree. :) The kids hardly left time for fluffing the branches. We had 3 ornaments to a branch. Lots of fun as they grow up, but not a pretty tree. :) Can't wait to hear some of your fun tradtions.
Your house looks beautiful! A what a sweet little girl to have under your tree :) She's just darling!
I have never seen a more precious little present under the tree!!! She is sooo darling.
