Loving walks, good naps, and fall...

To be honest, I was a little hesitant about "today" this morning. We had stake conference at 10am and I just knew it was going to be a nightmare...considering nap time! So...Justin and I had the bright idea of getting up at 6:30am and waking Mylie up--so that she could get a nap in before we had to go. We knew that it was going to either be a major success or major nightmare! Believe it or not...it worked out really well! She did awesome. We were SO thrilled. There were some amazing talks that we actually heard! :) The only "adventure" was Mylie choking on a baby goldfish and Justin digging down her throat to get it... resulting in puke all over Justin's suit, the padded chair and floor. Oh how fun! :) She did take an over two hour nap when we got home... if we would've known that, we would have taken one too!

We're trying to soak up the fall as much as possible...or at least what's left of it! It's going to be really hard to give up our Sunday walks this winter. Mylie loves them so much, as do we, and I'm sure we'll be trying to figure something out. Who knows... we might just bundle her up and still make the trek!

On our walk, I was enjoying the many colors of fall.I'm not quite ready for the winter yet, so I thought I'd pay a little tribute to the colors of our neighborhood.

Justin pointed out one gorgeous flower that's still holding on...it was absolutely gorgeous!

Too bad about the gold fish. I guess the Daddy has learned how far to really stick his finger down there ... we all live and learn :). I am so glad she took a longer nap for you. Maybe you should make it a normal routine and she might give you a two hour nap everyday :).

The pictures are beautiful... thanks for sharig a bit of fall... something we don't get here in Texas :).
