Despite the messages shared, my most favorite part about the weekend was watching Mylie. She didn't pay any attention to the talks, obviously, but she listened to every single musical number in awe. Just imagine with me for a second... my loud little Mylie going dead silent the second the music started..watching and listening intently the whole song..and then going back to her screeching when it was done. She truly felt the spirit through music and it was so amazing to experience. I have a love for music and it's very exciting to see Mylie's love for it develop as well. I sing to Mylie a lot.. so...maybe all that screeching is just a result of her trying to figure out how to sing! :)
I am constantly taken back by the little things that Mylie does to remind me of the important things in life. She is truly a blessing and I can't wait to watch her grow and develop even more.

Bec, how wonderful to witness little Mylie being able to feel the calm of the spirit during the music, the choir was terrific and I think many of us that really listened to them were in awww of them.
I do think our smiley Mylie may be a piano player someday with her long fingers. :) I would love to see her express herself through music since she is really good at it with her screeches now.
I love to read and listen to you talk about Mylie and knowing that every new thing Mylie discovers is also a new thing for you. It's a wonderful time.
I love it.... maybe she is trying to sing :). What a wonderful thought :). I bet if you keep reminding yourself that iit s just a child's best efforts at beautiful music, you can't help but smile as she screeches all day :).
Love the pictures too :) She is so adorable :).
I also enjoy conference weekend SO much. It is so dreamy to just relax and hang out in our PJ's all day. We enjoyed picking our favorite talk and the choir of course was magnificent. I need to get my hands on that "future singer" of yours still. We should have gotten together. I'm sorry.
I love conference weekend too! Mylie looks so grown up in this picture! She looks so adrorable!!
It's great to see all the fun things. I hope she's getting over the ear infection. We always hope these little experiences are just growing pains. We are always here for the joy. luv Papa
