I just realized that this is the third year in a row we've visited Gardner Village to see the witch displays. My mom informed me that it's now a tradition. I like that!
The weather was beyond gorgeous.. low 70s, sunny, slight breeze. Serious. Simply awesome. It's supposed to get nasty later this week so I'm glad we went when we did! I love fall days like today.
We were so lucky.. Uncle Adam joined us for the fun. He asked me, "Is this where all the moms go?". I couldn't help but laugh. Why yes it is! There was stroller after stroller.. baby after baby.. mom group after mom group. We weren't the only ones with the genius idea.
We loved walking around, looking at the displays and window shopping. It was the perfect day.
Luke was a little scared of the witches. Completely my fault. We visited a Halloween store a few weeks ago, looking for costumes, and a freakish monster on the floor crawled towards him. He's scarred for life.
As tradition goes, the kids always get to pick out a treat from Sweet Afton's candy shop. We found some yummy gummy tarantulas for the kids and some delicious fudge for Adam and me.
I can't even begin to describe how fast Luke ate his. It was incredible.
I'm pretty sure this was Adam's favorite display.
