Christmas Vacation: Christmas Day

Christmas at Wisteria Hollow was fabulous! We arrived late Christmas Eve-- around 1am and by the time we got kids situated, stuffed stockings and displayed Santa gifts it was around 3am. The kids were excited to see Papa so it was hard to get them to go to bed right away. They all surprisingly woke up around the same time Christmas morning and were eager to open presents.

Mylie's gift to her Dad... a canvas painting.

Lukers opening his stocking..

I was thrilled to open a new telephoto lens from Papa!

After the chaos of opening tons of presents, we enjoyed our breakfast tradition, tea rings. They were amazing. I'm beginning to wonder why I only make them on Christmas! After the hubbub of the morning.. the kiddos were eager to explore WH. Luckily, it was in the mid-forties and we were able to enjoy some time outside.

Love this.. rock mid air.

Mylie and Abby found lots of crab claws and etc at the beach and had to bring them up to share.

Love the curly bed head!

Family pic.. minus Mylie's eyes. :)

We even busted out the kayaks.

Papa was such a good sport to take all the kiddos out!

Justin and... Abby! So funny.. her head didn't make it above the life jacket. I'm not too sure how effective it would be in case she went overboard.

Adam and Drew came up around lunch time, we did our sibling gift exchange and then headed to Uncle Don's for Christmas dinner with all the Blackners. It was great to see all the extended family that we don't get to see very often.

Wisteria Hollow proved to be all sorts of fun... once again...isn't that hot tub just beautiful?! Exactly 2 years ago, during our previous stay, I was 5 weeks pregnant with Luke, hopping in and out to make sure I didn't cook him. :) Crazy to think how fast time goes.

Papa had the best time with his kiddos. He was entertainment committee nonstop. Love you, Papa!
