Christmas around here...

I love pulling out all our Christmas decorations and transforming our humble abode to something wonderful. Mylie was beyond thrilled to decorate the tree and wanted to be apart of every step. I have a love/hate relationship with this tree...it takes forever... but I love having a pretty tree.

There were a few rules this year... glass on top.. shatterproof on bottom. Notice the hand in this photo... we're definitely having some battles keeping the ornaments on. Needless to say, Luke is winning. Ripping off ribbon, breaking his yearly ornament (guess I hung that too low), and chucking everything else. I just keep telling myself... it's all worth it! Still love my tree..

Stockings...

Our first year ever having lights on our house. Justin did a fantastic job. He worked so hard... froze to death some days... but he did it. All to make his wifey happy. What a guy.

Our Christmas book tradition is well underway and the kids are enjoying every second of the advent calendar. You can find us dancing to Christmas songs daily... and reminding Mylie that Santa's checking his list. She even received a special video message from him yesterday. Check those out here... must have. We're reading lots about Jesus' birth and remembering Mary and Joseph's journey. Christmas is in full swing. I'm loving every minute.
