I'm sorry to say, but having to go to work on your birthday is such a bummer! I was so sad Justin couldn't take the day off and just play with us all day. The kids and I had to improvise. Justin is such a busy guy... there's no saying what each day will hold. He ended up having meetings over lunch but we decided to head downtown and say hi to him anyway. It was a gorgeous day-- we were able to visit his new desk and hang outside for a little bit. I think he appreciated the gesture. Mylie worked hard on painting a picture for him that morning and she was so excited to give it to him. She even called and sang Happy Birthday to her dad! It's a pretty big deal for her.
I had to scan her painting. She did a pretty awesome job.
We ended the day with a few presents and a simple dinner. Some family and friends came over that night to celebrate and we enjoyed some ice cream sundaes. Yum! And.. no pics! Can you believe that? I need to be fired! The only excuse I have? I was busy being hostess. Oh well.
Happy 33rd, Babe! You're the best friend, husband and father... ever! We love you!!

I think you have a budding artist! The blending is professional... I could definitely see this one hanging in a modern art museum :). Love the painting!
So sad.... no pics to document the day!!! You did a lot ... I know :). At least you got a shot of the art :).
Happy Birthday to Justin! We love having him as part of our (extended) family :).
she really did do awesome, she must have some of those coveted baughman skills
