We were in desperate need of an outing this week and thought Mylie would love the zoo. I knew it would be a lot of walking, but I thought it would be worth the "soreness" the next day... just to see Mylie happy and loving life. And that she did!! She ran from exhibit to exhibit... loving every second. Luke did awesome as well. He slept the entire trip... what a trooper! Love this little man! Luke's official first outing...at 9 days old.. to the Hogle Zoo!

We had to ditch the stroller for the reptile exhibit, so Luke was able to join in the fun. Funniest comment of the day... a mom saying to her son..."Oh.. look at that cute little baby!"... son looking around in all the windows... mom says, "No.. the human one!!" It made us chuckle. Luke was just as intriguing as some of the animals to some people. :)

LOVE THE ZOO!! So glad you guys were able to have some fun family time before Justin had to go back to work. That lizard is crazy!! But I love that you captured all of Mylie's expressions... priceless. So glad Luke was such a trooper... a good baby can make all the difference :).
