He's Here!!

Luke is here! Tuesday was such an exciting day for our little family. Everything went smoothly and according to plan... which is always nice! We arrived at the hospital first thing in the morning.. I had heavy contractions the night before and was pretty ready to go. After everything was started... pitocin and epidural... it was a dream. Little Luke was actually ready to come out before the doc was ready! We waited on him a little while. But... after only one push he was here. We had a little cordal scare...it was wrapped around his neck a couple times...the delivery stalled for a moment to take care of that, but all turned out okay.

Luke is a dream baby. Oh.. we just love him. He is the exact opposite of Mylie when she was a baby... which is actually a good thing! :) Mylie loves her little brother! She was a little nervous when she saw him for the first time and hasn't officially held him yet, but she definitely thinks he's cool beans. She loves touching him, watching him eat and sleep, and she loves all the faces he makes.
