Pre-Easter Fun

We just love Saturdays... any day really that we get to spend time with Daddy...Mylie and I almost feel spoiled! We crammed as much fun as we could into one day... seriously.

We started off with our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. It was fun to actually participate this year. Believe it or not, Mylie wasn't even walking last Easter, so this year was exciting for us. Mylie Anne and her basket that was almost as big as she is...

Mylie was a little confused at the beginning... she just watched all the other kids going crazy. Here she is with her friend Claire, watching her intently. She even "donated" to Claire's basket. It was so funny! I don't think she understood there was candy inside, despite all our efforts. I think she collected 3 eggs total! (That's okay... this girl didn't need more candy!)

When she got it... she got it.. and wanted more and more candy! :)

After the hunt we headed up to IKEA and picked up this little table for Mylie. She simply loves it-- it's a good thing because it was tantrum city at IKEA-- yuck! She colors, eats, plays and does about everything on it. We also picked up some mini-glasses. Here Mylie is practicing her drinking skills with Daddy.

After everyone took a nap (yes!), we headed to Jump On It... one of our favorite places. We were so excited that Daddy came with us this time! He loved jumping with Mylie... even though she's quite the independent jumper and likes to have her own trampoline.

We concluded the night with dying eggs. Mylie loved dunking and dropping the eggs... and really loved putting her whole hand in to dig the eggs out. We ended up dying them all really fast... it way way messier than anticipated, but fun none-the-less. My favorite was Mylie's reaction... she just kept saying.. "WOW".. "WOW"... she loved it.

This was probably one of the busiest Saturdays we've had in a while.. but it sure was fun!
