We celebrated Justin's 32nd birthday today. Celebrating on Sunday always puts a different spin on birthdays, but we think he enjoyed it! We actually headed up to Park City on Saturday for some birthday shopping... we came home with lots of good finds for Justin! Can't beat those deals.
We started off the day with homemade Egg McMuffins in the morning before church. Mylie made it through all of church without a nap... and what miracle that is, especially for having 1 pm church. Don't be fooled though... she only made it for 30 mins of nursery. This schedule is way hard!
After church, we came home, put Mylie down for a nap and had a yummy dinner of Cafe Rio-style pork and a burrito/salad bar with all the fix-ins... pico, guac, homemade tortillas, Cafe Rio-style dressing and etc. I'm sure you can imagine the spread. I can't believe I didn't take a picture! After the feast, Justin enjoyed a little nap while I cleaned up. We spent the rest of the day talking with family, playing outside and enjoying Justin's fav Banana Split cake.
It was a pretty low-key day... just how Justin likes it. I tried to convince him to let me do a "low-key" party for him with friends and family, but he wasn't too fond of the idea. Funny guy.. doesn't like all the attention to be about him. Mylie definitely didn't get that trait from her dad!
Mylie and I are so lucky to have such a great huband and dad. We love him so much! Happy Birthday babe!!

Happy B-day to Justin! Sounds like a nice day. Ryan is the same way--likes to keep things mellow, and doesn't really need/want a big fuss on his birthday.
1pm church totally stinks. My kids were a wreck on Sundays all last year becasue we wreck on that schedule. I will say it is easier to do a 1 pm schedule with a new baby--so at least that may be a plus to having it this year.
