Happy Birthday Mylie!

I can't believe my baby girl is 2 today! Where did the time go? Mylie is so grown up and gets bigger and more mature every day. It's scary. We've been having a great day today.. lots of fun.. but while she's napping, I can't help but reflect on the little person that she is and the happiness she brings into my life.

There are so many reasons to love Mylie. I've mentioned them before here and here when she was 9 months and a year old...it's crazy to think of how much she's changed since then and how much more I love her! In honor of her birthday.. I thought I'd jot down a few more reasons:

I love...
*how energetic she is.. wish I could borrow some of it
*how she tries to read emotions... whether people are happy, sad or scared
*it when she pretends to be scared when she's wrestling and playing with her dad... she knows how to work him
*that she actively tries to say new words everyday and learn new things...and she enjoys it
*how much she loves her dad...craves to be with him... and asks me 20 times a day where he is
*that she knows "Daddy" is either at work or the gym :)
*how she says "hold you" when she wants to be held
*that when she does something naughty she tries to pull a funny face to distract you by how cute she is
*her unique personality-- she's truly her own person and came this way!
*that she loves herself.. her ideal day would be looking at pictures and watching videos of herself all day
*her "cheese" face when you ask her to smile
*how stubborn and determined she is... just like her parents
*it when she's in "show-off" mode... this girl can get crazy and laugh hard!
*that she loves animals... shows what a tender heart she has...except when she's terrorizing Tink
*her hugs and kisses
*her smile
*how active she is and that I don't have to encourage her to run and play... she does it because she loves it
*how trusting she is
*her classic dancing moves that will do on cue to any type of music
*her constant singing... even when she's singing so loud in sacrament meeting and I get embarrassed
*the fun, liveliness and brightness she brings into our home
*that she makes me feel closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior
*that I've been blessed to be her mother

The list could go on and on...and those of you who know Mylie well probably have a few of your own!
