Girls Trip-- Texas 2007

Phew... Mylie and I just got home from a fun trip to San Antonio and boy are we tired! :) We had so much fun seeing Ellice, John, Abby, Dallin & Grandma! Mylie is missing all of the attention already. We were busy all week... well... it seemed that way anyway...and had the best time just chatting it up! We stayed up late, got up early (thanks to the Wirthlin gang on a diff timezone), and partied hard! Ellice kept Grandma and I in check as far as treats went...:)...and made our little fat selfs run everyday.. well almost everyday.. and almost running the whole time! :) HA! We're sad that it's back to reality for us...but we did miss our Justin like crazy...and he missed his little girl! She even packed on a few pounds while we were gone... thanks to an Auntie and Grandma that were excited for Mylie to try EVERYTHING! :)

The first day we headed to the San Antonio Zoo. I didn't know that you could sweat SO much without working out. We were dripping from head to toe.. it was quite embarrassing! It took all of 2 minutes before Grandma and I bought a fan. Mylie was such a trooper in the heat-- but wasn't as into the animals as I thought she'd be. I guess she's only 6 months! :)

The next day, we just hung out-- made cookies... worked out... and made sure the kids were very rested! We headed to a GREAT Mexican restaurant that night but made sure we went from AC to AC.

The last full day we headed to Six Flags. Of course Mylie loved the water!! She tried out some slides but wasn't too excited. She splashed and splashed.. wearing herself out. We changed the kids and then headed to the rides. Mylie loved the Merry-Go-Round and being in the shade while Abby did some fun rides. Grandma and I even were able to go on a roller coaster-- it was SO fun!!! We screamed the whole time! And while we were on the coaster-- Auntie Ellice fed Mylie frozen lemonade and she absolutely loved it! Needless to say, the kiddos crashed on the way home.

We headed back to the airport Friday. It was so sad to leave-- I hate goodbyes!! Mylie loved watching people on the plane... she would stare at them until they looked and smiled at her! It was quite hilarious! There was a couple behind us that had her laughing hysterically. She did great on the take off and landing, but hated it otherwise. She was so stir-crazy and tired as well. She didn't have a great first flight, but the second-- from PHX to SLC, she did really well.. and slept most the way.

All in all, I'm really impressed about how well Mylie did..she adapted really well to her new surroundings and the new noise levels! :) She napped pretty well and slept awesome. We couldn't have asked for more-- well-- maybe she could have been a little nicer to her Auntie! :)

Thanks Ellice & Gang for showing us another great time in TX! We had a ball and miss you already! And thanks Grandma for expanding Mylie's horizons and introducing her to sit-up school! We miss you too! :) WE LOVE YOU ALL TONS!!!
