Mother's Day weekend

All in all, we had a great Mother's Day weekend. We had some rough patches, as to be expected with little Mylie Anne, but we enjoyed each other's company and were sad that Justin had to go back to work today. We always have big plans for Saturdays...like cleaning out the garage, deep cleaning the house, pressure washing the deck, running errands and etc. and like always, barely any of them got done. Justin was so awesome this weekend though.. he watched Mylie while I got my hair cut (what a nice break) and even let me get ready for the day without having to worry about her!! What a drastic change that was from my everyday-- trying to fit a shower in between cries, and get that hair done before it dries flat! :) It did make me a little anxious though when I called him before and after my hair appointment and Mylie was screaming! Darn!! I felt so bad for him! Mylie was having a terrible day until... we busted out the Tylenol! :) She's been fighting a bad cold this week and hasn't kicked it yet. I'm just amazed at how much "stuff" can be up such a little nose! We were able to get some errands done on Saturday, but my favorite part was sitting on the porch while the sun went down enjoying the awesome weather! It was a beautiful night!! We have early morning church, but my dear husband woke up way early so that he could make me breakfast! What a trooper! It was so wonderful and Mylie actually had a great morning. After a great breakfast and church, we took a long-anticipated family nap! Gosh, Sunday naps are the best, especially when Mylie lets us take one! Honestly, we just had a really good time together this weekend. I just love my little family and enjoy every second with them! I guess it doesn't matter that my house didn't get clean, it just matters that I spent some quality time with the most important people in my life! :)
