Sledding

Not too long after Papa and Grandma Debbie arrived, the kids had them in the snow! 

These kids will sled and play in the snow for hours and hours.  It's amazing and so fun to watch. 

We're so blessed to have this 'extension' to our backyard.

Justin came home with a special little sled for Ethan 

and we were anxious to take him out for his first time in the snow. 

Justin, Papa and Grandma were such troopers pulling the kids up the hill.  

They usually have to climb up it themselves so I know they enjoyed being spoiled.

It was a clear night but quite cold! I took some photos for a little bit, 

but then was anxious to head back inside to make hot coca for everyone. 

Of course, this little thrill seeker loves it! 

I loved listening to Mylie giggle as she spun in circles down the hill on her sled. Too cute. 

Ethan was wide-eyed. It was hard to tell how much he liked it but clearly he didn't hate it.  

I think the binky helped with that.

Luke loved getting extra pushes down the hill.

The big kids with the little kids.  It wasn't quite steep enough to get them going at a good speed.  We should've headed over to the 'big hill' nearby. We just weren't too sure how much of a commitment we were willing to make, with the sun going down so soon. 

Classic.  Once we took away the binky.. this guy had snow in his mouth within seconds. 

And we also were able to discover how much he really loved sledding too.

We're so glad that Papa and Grandma were able to experience it with us.

I think it's safe to say Ethan had a pretty great 'first' time with his Dad.
