Copperton Park

I love summer! Our ward is filled with some of the most amazing, creative women on the planet. Someone is always planning something and inviting all to join in the fun! Sweet Sheri planned a park playdate a little known park, Copperton. We're spoiled with a few parks in our neighborhood, so we rarely leave and venture to new ones. But, I'm thrilled she shared this gem with us! We packed picnics, bikes and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Copperton is full of huge mature trees with lots of shade. It also has lots of paved trials for bike riding. Needless to say, Mylie was in heaven.

Luke and his buddy Jonathan enjoying the view of the tennis courts..

Of course there's a huge playground with swings and multiple big toys... so fun! Luke likes to hang out at the top. Unfortunately, he's usually pushed down by the ragamuffins at the park. Argh!

While this cute girl enjoyed her bike...

..this cute boy pushed around his pink shopping cart. So manly! I have a feeling we might be sharing this picture when Luke is in high school. :)

Luke also played a little soccer.. :)

And hung out with friends his size. So funny! Probably his best friend.. Asha.

Krista and Sheri brought all the items necessary for the kids to make their own ice cream. Seriously. How awesome are they?!? See what I'm talking about? Love these creative gals.

Next on tap is the neighborhood chalk festival... so excited! :)
