Happy 34th Birthday to our favorite man!! I felt so bad that Justin had to work on his birthday. What a bummer! We left him breakfast on the counter and a bag full of snacks for his desk at work. We were hoping he felt loved before he headed out the door! :) We gave Justin a "rain check" for his birthday breakfast-- which I planned to cook him on Saturday.
Mylie had a preschool field trip, but afterwards we headed up to SLC to have lunch with Justin at Cafe Rio. Thanks to my awesome friend for giving me the heads up-- Tuesday's special is coconut shrimp tacos with mango salsa... divine! Justin and I feasted on those bad boys while the kids enjoyed their quesadillas. They were actually on their best behavior too! Guess they got the memo about their dad's special day! :)
It was the Wirthlin's last day in town so we headed to the Aquarium for one last surprise hoorah. Luke was a trooper with no nap and Mylie had the best time. I'll save details for another post.
When Justin got home from work, we continued the birthday feast and I made chicken cordon bleu, loaded mashed potatoes, caesar salad, roasted balsamic asparagus and rolls. YUM! Actually all of it was really good except the chicken. It was kinda nasty. :) Oh well. The rest was fabulous.
Next was a few gifts from the kids. Isn't Luke just such a doll?? Love that he gave his dad his gift all on his own!
Mylie too... but we knew she'd love it! Watching Dad open her gift...
We finished off the night with a family game of farkle and some strawberry cheesecake courtesy of McCann. I can't believe these are the only two pictures I have... terrible terrible me. I will try to post some video though.

Happy Happy Birthday Justin! I think the day was great! It is always had to make it super special when they have to go to work... but it all sounded wonderful to me :).
