Saying goodbye to our little townhouse was harder than I thought it would be. Pemberley is all we've ever known as a couple... and we've lived there for almost 5 years! It's crazy. I did get a little sad when we finally left, but I was thrilled to be done with packing and cleaning. This prego body can't handle much more. We'll miss our ward and friends, but we're looking forward to a new adventure... not to mention a HOUSE!
Mylie passed out in our makeshift bed on the floor
It was quite the weekend having to pack up our house during all the wedding festivities, but we did it. Special thanks to Steve and Matt for all their help! Wow... we couldn't have done it without you! We ended up sleeping on the floor the last couple of nights there... which killed my back and accentuated by nerve pain... I'm a trooper though... what can I say!? :)
The empty house...Mylie watching movies while I cleaned
Mylie had a hard time with her whole life getting packed up. The last day was especially rough. If her blankie wasn't in sight, she'd freak and think it was missing... like the rest of her life. Poor girl.. this is so hard to understand!
We've had too many setbacks to even list with our house...it's been pretty frustrating...resulting in leaving us homeless for the next few weeks. Special thanks to Matt & Angie and Matt & Mikelle for letting us stay at their houses! We've finally heard back and hope to close on our house soon, but we're not holding our breath.

Oh... it is so hard to leave a place that holds so many memories. We will always remember your darling little town home. We loved it too. :) But we are so excited for you to have some more space and enjoy a real backyard... we are just crossing our fingers it happens sooner than later :).
It looks so different empty!!!
Moving from your first home is hard. I cried for a week when we left our house--but we were downsizing, so that could have had something to do with it. And being pregnant is exhausting during the process. I really hope all the wrinkles get ironed out and you can get in your home as quick as possible.
