Well... Miss Mylie Anne had her 4 month doc appt yesterday!! I can't even believe it's been 4 months already.. but then I look at Mylie and remember how tiny she used to be. She's right on track.. our little long and lean thing! But Dr. Willis was pretty concerned about Mylie's "bowel movements" or I should say, lack thereof, and he gave us a new game plan to try for the next week. The new plan consists of... starting solids...milk of magnesia....Colace (stool softener/laxative)....and juice!! Wow.. it's a lot for one little mom to remember!! If this combo doesn't do the trick.. it's off to a "gasto" specialist for Mylie. But with all that.. how can it not do the trick!? We're keeping our fingers crossed.
We tried giving Mylie rice cereal when she was 3 months, hoping that the myth was true... that rice cereal helps babies sleep through the night. Well it wasn't true for us.. so we only gave it about 3 days. Mylie wasn't really too fond of it either. But today was another story... she was ALL SMILES while she ate the cereal. It was quite hilarious! Rarely she keeps smiling when I pull out the camera, but she was just elated! I loved every second of it! I took some really goofy pictures of her... and if you can tell, I'm not great at the "cleaning the face with the spoon" trick yet! :) I just love it when Mylie is happy!!!

I love the pictures. She is so cute when she is smiling :)... well, she is cute all the time, but it is nice to see her happy. I hope the new game plan works or at least it is the road to finding out what is wrong with our dear little princess.
