Running on empty seems to be the trend at our house these days! It was a rough one last night... Justin was preparing for his trip to Redmond, WA to meet with some Microsoft clients... and we didn't get to bed until midnight. Little Mylie Anne was hungry at 3am and then she decided that she didn't want to go back to sleep. When Justin was leaving for the airport at 5am, Mylie and I were still awake. She was thrilled to fill Justin's already warm spot in our bed and of
course I was excited that I didn't have to get up to get her for the next feeding. We said farewell to Justin but he just looked so handsome in his new bday shirt (from my mom) that we had to get a pic. (The camera was on my nightstand... I wasn't that ambitious!) And his tired eyes are classic! I was hopeful that we'd fall asleep after he left, but Mylie d
ecided she wanted to stay up until 6:30am before going back to sleep! Needless to say, our little family is pretty beat today!! Once again, we're all running on empty!

We are sorry to hear that Mylie still is not sleeping too well at night. Don't worry ... stay positive... I think the nightly routine is a good idea.
Justin looks great in that color, but the eyes tell the whole story.
